How to control the temperature inside the mill during the grinding process is very important.

First, the reason for the high temperature inside the mill

Due to the impact and friction between the grinding body and the lining plate, a large amount of heat is generated to increase the temperature; the temperature of the grinding material is too high, so that the temperature is increased; the Vertical Roller Mill is not well ventilated, or Due to the limitation of the process conditions, the ventilation is not enough, and the heat in the mill cannot be taken away in time; due to the large size of the Vertical Roller Mill, the proportion of heat dissipation on the surface of the cylinder becomes small, and the heat cannot be effectively removed, thereby increasing the temperature; The temperature of the grinding material is high and the heat dissipation of the system is slow, and the temperature inside the grinding furnace is high.

Second, how to control the temperature inside the mill

For the above reasons of temperature rise, the following effective measures can be taken to control the internal temperature of the Vertical Roller Mill.

1. Reduce the temperature of the milled material

Strengthen material management, avoid clinker with high temperature into the grinding head bin, prevent red material from entering the grinding; spray water in the cooling machine to reduce the temperature of the material; spray water on the belt of the grinding material.

2, mixed with grinding aid

If the internal temperature of the Vertical Roller Mill is properly controlled, it will help to increase the output of the stage, and at the same time, the increase in the output of the stage will help to lower the temperature. Aiming at the high temperature of the grinding system, the phenomenon of excessive grinding in the grinding mill and the efficiency of selecting the powder in the grinding machine are reduced. By using the grinding aid to reduce the degree of adhesion in the grinding machine, the efficiency of the classifier can be improved, thereby lowering the temperature to a certain extent.

3. Strengthen the ventilation of Vertical Roller Mill

Strengthening the ventilation of the Vertical Roller Mill can take away a part of the heat, but according to the heat balance calculation of the Vertical Roller Mill, the heat taken away by the Vertical Roller Mill usually only accounts for 20% of the total heat of the Vertical Roller Mill. Although the internal ventilation of the mill can reduce the temperature of the material, the ventilation in the mill is restricted by the resistance of the system, the air lock, the air leakage, etc., and is also restricted by the fineness of the product. Therefore, the grinding material is reduced by increasing the ventilation inside the mill. The temperature has a certain limit.
